There are so many things that we all would love to have in our weddings. An amazing carriage, great live music, an scrumptious menu, a first-class open bar...so many things come to mind! Because they have been used only once before, you are very likely to find your wedding gown in great shape for a fraction of the price!
However, if you prefer to use a brand new wedding gown, you can check out sample sales in which stores try to get rid of their inventory by marking down their wedding gowns by as much as 75% in some cases! You can find these sample sales around where you live, but there are also some online stores such as http://www.hitchedsalon.com, where you can sign up for their mailing list and find out every time they have a new dress in their inventory. You will have a better chance of finding a wedding gown if you are a size 10 (usually 6-8 in regular sizes), but they do have other sizes and offer you specialized service, since you can email or call them to let them know exactly what you are looking for!

One of my best friends actually bought a beautiful Vera Wang wedding dress for a fraction of the price and she was able to wear a designer gown during her very special day. With the money saved, she decided she would splurge on clothes and accessories for her honeymoon, which she will be able to use more than once!
